The coming weeks with the Ukraine war

Zbigniew Brzezinski: 'Without Ukraine, Russia ceases to be a
Eurasian empire.'

Anatol Lieven, p.2:  'They [i.e. the members of the Russian
establishment] seem prepared, if necessary to fight on ruthlessly
for long time, and at immense cost and risk to their regime, to
prevent that [i.e. let Ukraine go] happening.'

So, if that is the case, we will have ghastly weeks ahead of us. 

Even if NATO and Russia are not yet firing missiles at each other:
We already have World War III. It's like someone pulling on a net:
Everything, every point in the net moves.

We should focus on Asia: Sixty per cent of the world's gross social
product is generated in the Indo-Pacific region. That is where the
music plays! And important in this respect will be how the Chinese
leadership will cope with the pandemic. It is not inconceivable
that it will become its Cannae.
